What a day, what a day!!! Our baby is 5!!! I can't believe how time has flown since that early morning 5 years ago when our firstborn son surprised us all by coming 4 weeks early. You'd never know it now, as he looks forward to graduating from preschool at the end of next week and heading off to kindergarten in the fall!!

Griffin's day was brought to you by the letter "P" -- presents, piano, and party!!

We started off the morning with a family time of opening presents.

Then it was a quick nap (yep, he still naps every day..... We're going to have to work on changing the sleep pattern this summer before school hits), and off to his first piano recital. This was a recent addition to the schedule as he had only had three lessons since we just started piano at the beginning of May. His teacher really wanted Griffin to have this experience, so we went. I knew he wouldn't have any problem with going up on the stage. It was pretty comical that he was only up on that bench long enough for me to snap this picture and then he was done!! It was pretty cute, though..... and he did a great job! Daddy and Ainsley missed the recital this time as it was right in the middle of nap time.

To finish off the day, Griffin had his first friend party.... at the Indoor Inflatable Park. Three sets of siblings came to enjoy the fun of jumping, sliding, and cake!! Hot, sweaty, tired kids were delivered to their parents at the end of night!

We love you, Griffin. We are so thankful that God blessed us with you!!! From day 1 you have been keeping us on our toes. We look forward to how you will lead us down this parenting path as you continue to grow up!
